Pakistan’s national team contracted players will undergo the fitness tests at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) on 6th and 7th January in Lahore.

According to the details, the team contracted players will undergo the fitness tests on 6th and 7th January.

All the players will have to attend the two-day testing as per their contracts.

Pace bowling duo of Mohammad Amir and Wahab Riaz along with Shadab Khan will go through the tests on 20 and 21 January.

Strength and conditioning coach of the Pakistan national team, Yasir Malik will conduct the tests.

On the other hand, it will cover five major areas, fat analysis, strength, endurance, speed endurance, and cross-fit.

If a player fails to meet the requirements, he will be fined 15 percent of his monthly retainer.

However, it will remain effective until such time he achieves the minimum fitness standards.

If he fails consecutively, he might face a demotion and will also risk the chances of retaining his category.

PCB Director International Cricket Zakir Khan has said that these tests will be conducted at the association levels too.
