Islamabad United-Peshawar Zalmi match cancelled due to rain

Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi’s match has been cancelled after heavy rain.

According to details, the match was canceled due to continuous rain and wet ground, Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United have been given one point each.

The Meteorological Department had predicted rain on Friday and Saturday, and it was likely that today’s match would be affected by rain.

The match between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi last day was restricted to 12 overs due to rain and Zalmi won the match.

Officials says that the intermittent rains in Rawalpindi resulted in a very wet outfield with the pitch remaining covered and teams have been mobilized to save the pitch, they added.

The decision will be taken, according to the Meteorological Department, the rainfall is likely to continue throughout the day.

Pakistan Super League match is being affected due to rain in Rawalpindi, PCB has announced that the match tickets will be refunded.

PSL Match Ticket Refund Policy

According to the Pakistan cricket board refund policy, if play is washed out without the toss having taken place a 100% refund is claimable.

If play does not take place at the ground on the day for which this ticket is valid, a 100 % ticket refund will be claimable If play is restricted to less than 5 overs in one innings, a 75 % ticket refund will be claimable. If play is restircited to 5 completed overs but less than 10 overs cumulative a 50 % refund is claimable If a cumulative of 10 overs or above take place no refund will be claimable For the avoidance of doubt, if 10 or more overs cumulative are played, then no refund will be claimable.
