Jeremy Lin bashes Trump with hard words for his racist remarks

American Basketball Star Jeremy Lin dashed US President Donald Trump with hard words on Twitter for his racist remarks that sparked social media as well.

As per details, International Business Times said in its report Jeremy Lin lambasted US President Donald Trump for his racist remarks in his message related to the coronavirus pandemic.

Lin, an Asian-American and a known proponent of the fight against racism, blasted the US President implicitly labeling COVID-19 as “the Chinese Virus” in a post.

In his post, Donald Trump wrote,

“The United States will be powerfully supporting those industries, like Airlines and others, that are particularly affected by the Chinese Virus. We will be stronger than ever before!” as he referred to the businesses massively affected by the global health crisis.

The former NBA sensation, found to be provoked, went on counter and urged Donald Trump to prioritize instead the “vulnerable people” who anguished the most during this time.

Jeremy Lin wrote:

” I wish you would powerfully support the vulnerable people that will suffer due to our mismanagement of this virus, including those that will be affected by the racism you’re empowering,”

Lin responded as he called out the continuous harassment of Asians who are objectified with the stigma because of the origin of the virus.

The Beijing Ducks guard doing his fair share in helping those severely hit by the Coronavirus.

On Friday, Lin announced his donation to the UNICEF worth $150,000 and said, “It’s time for us as a people to start makin’ some changes.”

On the other hand, the global count of the deadly coronavirus has soared to 198,612, from which 7,988 died.

While, 82,779 people have been recovered.
