Sammy is no more captain of Peshawar Zalmi

Pakistan’s most love able Skipper of PSL 2020 Derren Sammy has stepped down as captain of Peshawar Zalmi franchise.

According to the details, Peshawar  Zalmi’s Head Coach Mohammad Akram announced it while speaking to media in Rawalpindi, that Daren Sammy will now serve as the new head coach of Peshawar Zalmi for the next two years. Although, Sammy will still be available as a player for the franchise.

Wahab Riaz will lead Peshawar Zalmi permanently as he lead the franchise in Sammy’s absence in last game.

It is to be noted that Earlier Sammy took to Twitter and wrote an encrypted tweet “I’ve learnt that you are important until you’ve completed your role. #dealingwithhumans.”

But later while replying to rumors circulating on Media that there is some rift between him and Javed Afridi, Sammy said in a Tweet “I can’t believe that the media would think that my bro Javed Afridi and I would ever have an issue. I’m actually laughing at this. Listen guys I love this man as my own brother. Are u guys serious Peshawar Zalmi is my baby and nothing comes between us. Absolutely nothing.”
