Karachi kings will play against Quetta Gladiators tonight on the 22nd day of Pakistan Super League 2020.
The match will be played between the kings and Quetta gladiators at the kings’ home ground; the National Stadium Karachi tonight at 7 pm.
Note that the stadium will not welcome general public today.
Karachi kings have made their way to the semi finals of the tournament. Karachi kings with a slim, four-wicket win over Islamabad United, who crashed out of the tournament with the defeat.
Kings decided to field first after winning the toss against Islamabad in the 28th match of the PSL 5.
Islamabad made 136 at the loss of 6 wickets with Hussain Talat top-scoring with 37. Several of its regular foreign stars were not playing.
Babar Azam and Sharjeel Khan made a partnership of 60-runs for Karachi Kings and Karachi beat the target with the lost of four wickets.
It should be noted the stadium will not be opened for the public as per precautionary step taken by the government to avoid the spread of coronavirus.
Newly-appointed Bangladesh one-day international (ODI) captain Tamim Iqbal pleaded for time in order to make a difference in his role.
Tamim Iqbal appointed last week replacing Mashrafe Mortaza.
Mortaza stepped down following a three-match series against Zimbabwe.
“You have to keep patient. Our fans also have to keep patient. I will try to do whatever it takes for the best interest of the team,” Tamim told reporters in Dhaka.
