Khabib Nurmagomedov wastes no time to response Justin Gaethje
Muslim Russian professional mixed martial artist Khabib Abdulmanapovich Nurmagomedov offered very little in response to Justin Gaethje who beat Tony Ferguson in UFC match on Saturday.
Media reports said that martial artist Khabib Abdulmanapovich Nurmagomedov wasted little time and took to twitter mere after the second final bell and made simple but sly tweets.
The main event of UFC 249 was supposed to be Khabib vs Ferguson on April 18, but due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, that scheduled fight was cancelled. The Eagle was stuck in his homeland of Russia and he made it very clear to Dana White that he wouldn’t be travelling in order to fight Ferguson. The show must go on, though, as UFC president White said, and he found a replacement for Khabib in Gaethje. But, during fight week it was announced that the event had to be postponed due to the coronavirus.
It was revealed that Muslim Mixed Martial Artist Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Tony Ferguson will take place despite fears that the Ultimate Fighting Club fight would cancelled due to coronavirus. However Fans feared that the fight would cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Nurmagomedov and Ferguson scheduled to meet inside the octagon on April 18. The pair slated to fight four times before, but each occasion cancelled. And with the coronavirus pandemic currently decimating all major sporting events, it seemed that this fight, too, would scrapped.
The first read: “No comment.” But then the second read: “@Justin_Gaethje it was so impressive, congratulations. Very smart fight.”
So maybe we should forget about Ferguson vs Khabib happening in the near future, and instead, look forward to Gaethje vs Khabib.
