Pakistan’s fast bowler Mohammad Irfan rejected all the rumors of his death spreading on various social media platforms.

The tallest cricketer ever to play first-class cricket said, false reports saying he had been into a car accident were ‘baseless’.

The 38-year-old bowler took to his social media account and wrote,

“Some social media outlets have been spreading baseless fake news about my death in a car accident. This has disturbed my family & friends beyond words, and I have been receiving endless calls on this.”

He requested not to spread such fake news,

“Please refrain from such things. There was no accident and we are well.”

The rumor about the bowler’s spread after PCB tweeted about the demise of former deaf cricket player Mohammad Irfan. People mistakenly thought of any other cricketer.
