The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had tested its players for COVID-19 ahead of their Test and T20I tour of England. The affected players have been advised to go into self-isolation.
Earlier, according to a statement issued by the PCB, Haider Ali, Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan’s Coronavirus test came positive. Before the testing, all the three players did not show any signs of COVID-19. They were tested on Sunday.
The statement further said that the three players have been directed to go for self-isolation immediately while the medical panel of the PCB is in full touch with the three players in this regard.
According to the PCB, the other two players, Usman Shinwari and Emad Wasim, tested negative, after which both players were directed to reach Lahore on June 24.
Apart from Shoaib Malik, Cliffe Deacon and Waqar Younis, all the other players and officials in the squad have completed the COVID-19 tests.
