Pakistan left-arm spinner Kashif Bhatti, who tested positive for the novel coronavirus, is now cleared by English Cricket Board and allowed to join the team.
According to the details, ECB said that a follow-up test taken of the same player returned negative result as it cleared him to rejoin the rest of the Pakistan squad.
Having tested negative twice subsequently under protocols, as well as once with the airline he was traveling on, Bhatti was cleared to fly to the UK.
However, an initial test on arrival in the UK, this time conducted under ECB protocols, returned a positive result and Bhatti was asked to self-isolate from the rest of the squad in Worcester.
Two more tests since, however, have both returned negative and so he’s been allowed to integrate with the squad.
Kashif Bhatti, one of the squad members for Pakistan’s upcoming Test and T20I series against England, was sent into isolation following the initial negative result.
