England cricketer Joe Root has expressed his wish of visiting to Pakistan. He believes Pakistan is one of the craziest cricket nations across the world.

The England skipper said while talking to reporters that he has always heard a positive compliment from the players who had visited Pakistan in the past.

“I will love to visit Pakistan as I have heard a lot of positive reviews from fellow cricketers who visited the country recently,” said Root.

He went on to say that,

“We recently saw the nation welcoming Test cricket after a long hiatus and it was really emotional for them. Speaking to a few of the players about how much it meant to them, they really appreciated being able to play in Pakistan.”

Earlier, Chris Silverwood, head coach of England Cricket Team has hinted about a possible tour of Pakistan very soon.

“I think we are getting there [in terms of planning to visit Pakistan for a tour] to be honest. Personally, I’d have no problem with that. I’ve never been to Pakistan so it would be nice to go and have a look. And I know our batsmen would look forward to batting on their wickets. For me, it’s great that it’s back as a topic of conversation again. We are looking to get back there,” said Silverwood.

It should be mentioned here that the Pakistan cricket team is currently in England to play the three-Test series, out of which only one Test is left. The Pakistani team will also play T20Is against England.
