‘Every young cricketer wishes to be here’, Haider Ali on playing for Pakistan
Pakistan's top batsman Haider Ali is near to realize his dream of...
Former Pakistan captain and cricket personality Shahid Khan Afridi has made a case for his old teammate Wahab Riaz’s selection in the playing 11 of the Pakistani T20 squad.
After the team was unable to defend what was thought to be a sizable total of 195 in the second T20, Afridi took to Twitter to mention his concerns and reminded his followers that the team should take advantage of the left arm pacers abilities.
Calling the defeat a “disappointing result” Afridi said,
“We posted a good score but the bowling failed to back the batsmen. [I] really feel Pakistan needed to play Wahab Riaz. If he is there he should be used considering his experience in the T20 format. Flag of Pakistan should have taken control of the game.”
