Muslim Sports Star of Liver Football Club Mohamed Salah has made it to the top five in the richest footballers list of the world.

According to the details, Mohamed Salah bags the fifth position in the richest footballers list, issued by FORBES; with total earnings of ($37m)

Argentine Striker Lionel Messi came out on top with total earnings of $126m (£98m), split between $92m (£71.6m) in salary and $34m (£26.4m) in endorsements.

Barcelona has appointed former Everton and Netherlands manager Ronald Koeman as their new coach, but Messi has not yet taken part in a training session led by the new coach.

Cristiano Ronaldo came in second with earnings of $117m (£91m) combined with his status as the most followed footballer in the world on social media.

In addition to this, Brazilian forward Neymar came in third on the Forbes list ($96m, £74.7m) with his Paris Saint-Germain team-mate, 21-year-old Kylian Mbappe, in fourth spot ($42m, £32.6m).

Mohamed Salah in fifth ($37m, £28.8m), Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba ($34m, £26.4m) in sixth.

Pogba’s team-mate, keeper David de Gea ($27m, £21m) took 10th position.

It should be mentioned here that despite expressing the intention of leaving Barcelona earlier, a world-famous footballer from Argentina, rejected the impression and said that he does not want to play against the club.

According to reports, the document sent to the club by Macy’s lawyer also included a copy of the contract signed with the club in 2017.

The agreement stipulates that footballers can leave the club at any time, but the clause expires on June 10 this year.

Under the deal, which expires in 2021, Messi can leave Barcelona without the club’s consent only if a rival club pays Barcelona a hefty 700 700 million for his services.

It is believed that Messi’s desire to leave the club was expressed after the worst 2-8 defeat to Bayern Munich last month.

After the worst defeat to Bayern, Barcelona has decided to make major changes to their squad as this is the first time in 12 years that the club has not won a trophy in a season.
