French Open 2020: Rafael Nadal aims making his way at Roland Garros

As the Spanish Tennis Icon Rafael Nadal has reached the quarter-finals of the French Open, he said that he is quite happy with the way he is playing.

The 19-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal is aiming to once again make it all the way at Roland Garros.

The former World Number One said “I’m in quarterfinals without losing a set and having very positive scores. So I can’t complain at all. So, happy about that…I am quite happy about the way that I am playing, and the practices I am feeling every time a little bit better and better.”

If Nadal lifts the Coupe des Mousquetaires (the trophy awarded to the winner of the Men’s Singles competition at the French Open.) he will equal Roger Federer’s record haul of 20 Grand Slam trophies.

The Spanish Tennis star is 97-2 at this event. Furthermore, The 27-year-old Tennis star is also appearing in his fifth straight Roland Garros quarter-final and is aiming to move one step closer.

Jannik Sinner, who will face the Spaniard in the quarter-finals, said Nadal seems unbeatable at Roland Garros.

Sinner although appeared to be positive about the enticing match. “I’m going to play Rafa Nadal in the next round, it’s not the easiest match, especially not at Roland Garros,” Sinner said.

“I know his records and confidence while competing in Paris; it seems that nobody can beat him, but I am positive.
