Ceremony held in honor of National Champion WAPDA Hockey Team

Chairman WAPDA and Patron-in-Chief of WAPDA Sports Board Lt. Gen. Muzammil Hussain (Retd.) Was the Chief Guest at the event.

Cash prizes of Rs.1 million were given to the players and management at a function organized by WAPDA Sports Board.

WAPDA Chairman praises players and management of winning team for outstanding performance in National Championship. WAPDA has the honor of being the Men’s, Women’s and Junior National Champion in Hockey.

Chairman WAPDA said.

“We will continue to play an active role for the promotion of sports in the country.”

Also WAPDA teams have won 35 games (Men’s 19, Women’s 16) and runners-up in 19 games (Men’s 12, Women’s 7).WAPDA has 66 teams including 37 men’s and 29 women’s teams.
