21 foreign players will participate in the remaining four matches of the fifth edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
A total of 21 foreign players including seven from South Africa, six from England, four from the West Indies, two from Bangladesh and one each from Australia and New Zealand will participate at the event.
The most prominent of the 21 players is South Africa’s Du Plessis, who will be participating in the PSL for the first time.
The play-off matches of the event will be played on November 14, 15 and 17 in Karachi.
Faf Du Plessis had earlier visited Pakistan in 2017 as the captain of the ICC World XI. He will now represent Peshawar Zalmi in the event. He has been included in the squad in place of West Indies’ Caron Pollard.
