On Thursday, renowned football player Lionel Messi said that he is tired of being blamed at Barcelona for all the problems after Antoine Griezmann, Messi’s former agent, alleged he was creating difficulties for the French striker’s life at the La Liga club.
Messi was accused by Eric Olhats of having too much control at the club, saying his ‘reign of terror’ had made Griezmann’s life difficult to adapt since his arrival last year.
On Wednesday, Messi returned to Barcelona from international duty with Argentina when was questioned by reporters at the airport.
“The truth is that I’m a little tired of always being the problem for everything at the club,” Messi was quoted as saying by Spanish media.
“On top of that, after a 15-hour flight, I had the tax authorities waiting for me. It’s madness.”
Earlier, Messi had rejected the impression of leaving the Spanish club Barcelona and said that he did not want to play against the club and will not leave Barcelona.
According to the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Messi, who has scored the most goals for Barcelona, said that he would stay at the club because it was “impossible” for any team to meet his conditions.
“I don’t want to play in any match against Barcelona,” he said.
