The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to establish a sports arena to promote sports activities in the province.
The sports arena will be established in district Nowshera covering eleven-hundred and seventy-five kanal land at a cost of one-hundred million rupees.
Our Peshawar correspondent reports that the Sports and Tourism Department briefed Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan over the project. It was told in the briefing that there will be a capacity of three-thousand spectators at a time in the arena.
The Chief Minister termed the project important for promotion of sports activities in the province and directed for a comprehensive plan for its implementation.
