National Women’s T20 championship to begin on 22 November

The National Women’s Triangular T20 Cricket Championship will start on November 22 at Pindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi.

According to details, three teams will participate in the tournament to be played in Rawalpindi from November 22 to December 1. A total of 42 women cricketers will participate in the tournament.

The final of the event will be played on December 1 in which the prize money of the event has been doubled to encourage the best performance of women cricketers. Prizes of around Rs. 17 lakhs will be distributed in the event.

The ten-day tournament will feature teams from the PCB Blasters, PCB Challengers, and PCB Dynamites.

The PCB Challengers team will defend the title in the event. Muneeba Ali, who won the Player of the Tournament award for scoring 292 runs in the last edition, will lead the defending champion in this event.

PCB Blaster will be led by Alia Riaz and PCB Dynamites will be led by Ramin Shamim. One under-19 woman cricketer has been included in the squad of all the teams.

The matches of the tournament will be live-streamed on the PCB’s official YouTube channel.
