Misbah-ul-Haq, Head Coach on Wednesday announced the 35-player squad for Pakistan’s tour to New Zealand. Babar Azam will lead the squad of six openers, 11 middle-order batsmen, three wicket-keepers, five spinners and 10 pacers.

According to the details, while addressing a press conference in Lahore, Misbah said that the upcoming series is crucial for the team as it will help Pakistan improve its T20I rankings and gain valuable points in the ICC World Test Championship.

The contingent will depart on November 23 and spend a mandatory 14-day quarantine period upon their arrival in Lincoln, New Zealand.

Pakistan and New Zealand are to play a three-match T20I series starting December 18. The two-Test series will begin on Boxing Day (December 26).
