Virat Kohli to miss test series against Australia for personal reasons

Indian Skipper Virat Kohli has said that he may not be available for his team that is set to play against Australia from the 27th of this month.

According to the reports, the Indian team is scheduled to take on Australia in a tour that consists of three ODIs, three T20Is, and four Test matches.

The tour is scheduled from November 27 and all the Indian players that are supposed to travel to Australia and were participating in IPL 2020, have already joined the Indian bio-bubble and started their training.

However, the Skipper Virat Kohli has confirmed that he might miss the test matches.

It is pertinent to mention here that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma announced in September that they are going to become parents and the baby’s expected delivery is set to take place in January.

India vs Australia Test Series

The Indian team will play its first-ever day-night Test away from home starting from December 17 in Adelaide while the traditional Boxing Day Test will take place in Melbourne.

The last two Tests will be played from January 7 and January 15 in Sydney and Brisbane respectively.
