Imad Wasim, captain of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 5 winning team Karachi Kings, has dedicated the victory to all the supporters and credited coaches and franchise owners for their constant believe.
In his video message, Imad Wasim said that he feels so proud for the entire team as they have nabbed the first-ever PSL 5 title, beating Lahore Qalandars by five wickets.
He said that the victory is itself a “great accomplishment”.
“One of the biggest achievements for me in T20 cricket as captain. Credit goes to owners, late coach Dean Jones, Wasim Akram and the people of Karachi for supporting the team throughout,” the all-rounder stated.
“No doubt, Karachi Kings winning against Qalandars that too in Karachi is a big achievement. To mark your stamp on the PSL 5 trophy is a great feeling and I’m really proud of my boys,” he added.

It must be noted that on Tuesday, November 17, Karachi Kings took home the title for Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 after defeating Lahore Qalandars by five wickets.
Babar Azam led KK to their first PSL victory at the National Stadium, Karachi.
Earlier, Imad Wasim had dedicated the KK’s victory to late Dean Jones as they lift the first-ever Pakistan Super League trophy.
Imad recognized the contribution that Dean Jones had made to the franchise, as well as thanking Wasim Akram who walked in as his replacement during the playoffs.
