New Zealand captain Kane Williamson has on Monday achieved a milestone as he joins his Indian counterpart Virat Kohli at the second position in the latest ICC Test Rankings for batsmen.
With his recent performance, Kane Williamson gained 74 points, moving from 812 to 886 while his country-man Tom Latham achieved his career-best points tally of 733 and tenth place on the table.

Whereas, speaking about the all-rounders, Windies’ captain Jason Holder has slipped from fifth to seventh having not taken any wickets. Holder has also lost the top spot in the all-rounders’ table. He was top by one point from England’s Ben Stokes.

On the other hand, Pakistan’s Babar Azam has retained his fifth spot among batsmen with 797 points.
However, he was at the 6th spot before the start of the second Test between England and Pakistan at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.
Babar Azam holds the second position in the ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings as his rating points increased to 871 after playing series with Zimbabwe. The skipper’s series-topping 133 runs against Zimbabwe have helped him reduce the gap.
