Pakistan will take on New Zealand in the third T20 match of the series scheduled to be played at McLean Park today.

According to the details, New Zealand had won the three-match T20 home series against Pakistan with a margin of 2-0 and now stands a chance to clean sweep the series.

The black caps had won the second T20 match with a huge margin of nine wickets and will be aiming a total whitewash in the third T20 match.

Moreover, the match will be started at 11 am (PST).

Earlier Captain Shadab Khan lamented that repeated mistakes by players in the second T20 International led the team to lose the three-match T20I series against New Zealand in Hamilton. Pakistan lost the series 2-0 after their nine-wicket defeat in the second match of the series.

While addressing media, Shadab Khan said that losing early wickets in power-play in both matches cost them the series. “During the power-play overs, we continued to make the same mistakes time and again. When you lose three to four wickets in early power-play then it is always difficult to post a good total,” he said.

Squads:

New Zealand Possible:

Kane Williamson (C), Mitchell Santner, Martin Guptill, Tim Seifert(w), Glenn Phillips, Devon Conway, Mark Chapman, James Neesham, Doug Bracewell, Scott Kuggeleijn, Jacob Duffy, Ish Sodhi, Todd Astle, Blair Tickner.
