Spin bowling coach for the Pakistan Cricket Team Mushtaq Ahmed Malik has said the New Zealand tour will now be a tougher challenge as the isolation period has badly affected the national squad.

According to the details, in his recent statement, Mushtaq Ahmed said that Kiwis are dangerous on home soil, and in order to succeed; the Pakistan team must play skillfully.

One mistake will result in loss, says Mushtaq Ahmed; “Mental toughness is extremely important in this regard,” added the Coach.

He said that the Pakistani team will have to play without the fear of losing. He advised that Captain while managing the conditions must keep players united on the field.

In addition to this, the former leg spinner also appreciated Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s the decision of appointing Babar Azam as the captain in all three formats.

“It’s a good decision to make Babar Azam the captain in all formats because he has shown that captaincy does not affect his batting. He has the ability to become a great captain in the future and has taken good decisions on the field so far.”
