PCB Challengers win final of National Triangular T20 Women’s Cricket Championship
According to details, PCB Challengers won the National Triangular Women’s Cricket Championship played at Pindi Cricket Stadium Rawalpindi.
PCB Challengers defeated PCB Dynamites by 7 runs in the final.
PCB Dynamites won the toss and invited PCB Challengers to play first.
PCB Challengers scored 133 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Sadaf Shams and Muneeb Ali shared 15 runs for the first wicket. Captain Muneeb Ali was dismissed for 9 runs. Sadaf Shams scored 18 runs.
Kainat Hafeez scored 31 off 27 balls with the help of three fours and a six. Bismah Maroof was dismissed for 18 off 12 balls. Waheeda Akhtar (11) and Fatima Sana (24) remained unbeaten.
Sabhana Tariq from PCB Dynamites sent three players to the pavilion for 37 runs in four overs. Nishra Sindhu and Ramin Shamim took one wicket each.
In chase of the target, PCB Dynamites managed to score 126 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.
Naheeda Khan scored 39, Ayesha Zafar one, Hafsa Khalid 20, Amima Sohail 12 and Iram Javed 15 runs. Kainat Imtiaz remained unbeaten on 32 off 29 balls with the help of two fours.
For PCB Challengers, Syeda Arub Shah took two wickets while Ayman Anwar, Fatima Sana and Nida Dar took one wicket each. Kainat Hafeez was named Player of the Match.
Kainat Imtiaz was declared the Player of the Tournament for her all-round performance. She scored 111 runs in the tournament and took three wickets.
