Proteas right-handed fast bowler Kagiso Rabada said that we are still able to win this test match against Pakistan although our side is four down with the lead of 29 runs.
Today Rabada has completed his 200 test wickets and becomes the third fastest bowler in the world to achieve this milestone.
Rabada said in his statement that,
“That’s what we believe and that’s what you have to believe as a team. We’re up for the challenge. We have to be up for the challenge. That’s what we play for, that’s why we get up in the morning, that’s why we practice so hard,”
“I think Aiden and Russy batted extremely well, in subcontinent wickets can fall in clusters that way. We got constantly tested and we’re going to get tested again tomorrow, just like Pakistan got tested when we had them four down overnight,” he added
He further added to his statement that,
“Whatever chance I get to put the team in a good position, I’ll be willing to take the challenge.”
While talking about his today’s achievement he said that “it is a massive feat to be included in a list of top bowlers.”
The second Test Match will be played in Rawalpindi from 4th February. Whereas, three-match T20I series will be held in Lahore from 11th to 14th February.
