The Pakistan cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday has sought permission from the federal and provincial governments to allow limited spectators during matches of Pakistan Super League Season 6.
According to the details, PCB asked governments of Sindh, Punjab, and Federal government to allow a limited crowd during 6th edition of PSL scheduled to be played in Karachi and Lahore.
PCB has asked for permission to grant access to up to 14,000 people in the stadium in each match at both venues.
PCB will plan strict COVID-19 protocols if they will be allowed to bring crowds to the stadium.
The National Control Operation Centre (NCOC) confirmed that they received Board’s request to allow a limited crowd in stadiums during PSL 6 matches.
NCOC will reply to PCB on this matter in the first week of February following the current COVID-19 situation across the country.
PCB has also released a tender for the service of ticket sales of all matches in Pakistan in the calendar year 2021.
It should be mentioned here that the sixth edition of the PSL is scheduled to start on February 20 in Karachi.
National Stadium will host 20 matches while Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host the last 14 matches including knock-out stage and final.
