UFC 257: Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier set the tone early for Friday’s official UFC 257 weigh-ins.

Conor McGregor is an Irish professional mixed martial artist and boxer. He is a former Ultimate Fighting Championship featherweight and lightweight champion.

While, Dustin Glenn Poirier is an American professional mixed martial artist and philanthropist. He currently fights in the Lightweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is a former Interim UFC Lightweight Champion.

The former light-weight and feature weight champion was the first fighter to to the scale and he showed up at championship weight, coming in at 155 pounds for Saturday’s headliner against Dustin Poirier. Dustin also hit the mark at 156 pounds successfully to make the rematch official.

In the first meeting between McGregor and Poirier at UFC 178 in September 2014, McGregor beat Poirier in first-round TKO.

Co-main event lightweights Dan Hooker and Michael Chandler also successfully made weight, both coming in at 156 pounds. Chandler, a three-time Bellator champion, makes his UFC debut on Saturday.
