The Serbian Tennis Star Novak Djokovic has qualified for the final of the Australian Open 2021.

According to the media reports, Djokovic overwhelmed the 114th-ranked Russian Tennis player Aslan Karatsev 6-3, 6-4, 6-2 to reach his 28th Grand Slam final. Djokovic has never failed to win the tournament after making the semi-finals.

The World No. 1 Novak Djokovic will now fight to claim his ninth Australian Open trophy on Sunday inside Rod Laver Arena.

Speaking after the match, Novak Djokovic said he has a love affair with the Australian Open, his most successful Grand Slam championship.

He said that, “The more you win, obviously the more confidence you have and the more pleasant you feel on the court. It just feels right.”

Aslan Karatsev saved two set points as the Serbian Tennis star served at 5-4, and swung freely to twist two break points from the champion.

Djokovic fired two huge serves to cancel the threats before sealing the set and took the momentum into the third as he broke Karatsev in the opening game. However, the Russian gathered again to level to 2-2 but a long tournament appeared to take its toll as Djokovic raced away and sealed the match with an ace.
