Fine display of cricket from the South Africa attack today as the Proteas took seven wickets for 127 after Babar Azam and Fawad Alam looked to have set a decent platform on day one.

Pakistan wrapped up their first innings on 272 runs after losing all wickets. Two wickets in the same over for Nortje, finished with figures of 5 for 56 – his third five-wicket haul.

Pakistan resumed the day on 145-3 after the rain had cut short day one. The hosts were 22-3 at one stage but Azam and Fawad Alam batted responsibly to rescue the innings. Faheem Ashraf remain at Crease with 78 runs.

The Green Caps retained their winning combination from the first Test. South Africa made one change as Wiaan Mulder replaced Lungi Ngidi. The hosts had defeated the Proteas in the first Test at the National Stadium Karachi (NSK) by 7 wickets.
