Earlier in a day, Pakistan record first Test series victory over South Africa at home after 18 years today.
The second Test in Rawalpindi was another excellent advertisement for Test cricket as Pakistan claimed victory to secure the series 2-0
South Africa looked in pole position to actually win this Test when the new ball was taken at 241 for 3. But then the new-ball magic from Hasan Ali and Shaheen Shah Afridi rocked South Africa with the swing and turned tables after lunch.
Spinner Yasir Shah took the last wicket and sealed win against visitors. South Africa lost 7 for 33 runs after the new ball.
Pakistani right-arm pacer Hasan Ali remained the pick of the bowlers of this Test match, finishing with impressive figures of 5-60 to record his best match figures of 11-114 and help dismiss South Africa.
On the other hand, Captain Babar Azam also lauded his team’s victory against South Africa.
What makes me absolutely proud of my pack is their never say die attitude. More power to you @iMRizwanPak, @RealHa55an, @iFaheemAshraf, and @iShaheenAfridi. Even sky is not the limit for us, in sha Allah. Special shout out to @OfficialCSA – well fought. #PAKvSA #PakistanZindabad pic.twitter.com/zUDkNP98WA
