South African Pacer Dale Steyn, who will be playing for Quetta Gladiators, has landed in Karachi.
According to the details, he will be available for the franchise after necessary testing and quarantine due to the health protocols devised to curb the coronavirus spread.
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) earlier said in a statement that Steyn will be unavailable due to a family engagement. The statement added that the South African fast bowler is expected to reach Karachi on 22 February.
As a replacement, Gladiators had included young all-rounder Hasan Khan in the squad. The team played its first match in the tournament opener against title defenders Karachi Kings on Saturday.
Today, Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators are playing against each other at National Stadium (Karachi) in the fourth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2021.
