According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), six people, including former captain of the national cricket team and leader of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Quetta Gladiators Sarfraz Ahmed, left for Abu Dhabi via Bahrain.

According to sources, 4 players who left for Abu Dhabi are from Lahore and 2 are from Karachi.

Four players including Zeeshan Ashraf and Zaid Alam arrived in Karachi from Lahore to participate in the remaining matches of PSL season 6 while Sarfraz Ahmed and PCB media manager Emmad Hameed left for Abu Dhabi from Karachi. They are said to reach the destination via a private airline at about 7:30 pm.

Earlier, the Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed and 10 other players could not leave for Abu Dhabi as they were denied clearance to play the remaining PSL 6 matches so the remaining players including Sarfraz Ahmed went back to the hotel again from the airport after they were not issued the visa to play the remaining PSL 6 matches in UAE.

According to sources, 5 people including fast bowler Mohammad Hasnain left Karachi for Abu Dhabi while all 10 people from Lahore including Sarfaraz Ahmed were denied clearance to travel to the country earlier.
