Azam Khan, the middle-order batsman of the national cricket team, was injured when a ball hit his head.

Azam Khan was hit in the head during a training session in Guyana, after which he was ruled out of the second and third T20 against the West Indies.

After Azam Khan’s CT scan, the neurosurgeon has decided to keep him in the hospital for another 24 hours.

Azam Khan’s injury will be re-examined on Monday after which his availability for the fourth and final T20 International of the series will be decided.

The second T20I between West Indies and Pakistan will be played today at Providence Stadium.

The first T20I was postponed due to heavy rains.

In the first innings, West Indies played only 8 overs before the rain burst. Among the batsmen, Kieron Pollard was the highest run-scorer with 22 runs from just 9 balls.

Hasan Ali was the top wicket-taker on the bowling side with the figures 2-11 in 2 overs.

Azam Khan, son of former national cricket team legend Moin Khan, has posted a photo of himself after losing 37 kg in order to get fit.
