Ronaldo contract details: How much money is he making with new contract?

Portugal’s star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is returning to his old English club Manchester United.

Cristiano Ronaldo was playing for Italian club Juventus, but on Thursday he informed his club that he did not want to play for the club anymore.

Returning to Manchester United and a speedy deal stunned the football world.

Manchester United wrote in a tweet on social media that welcome home, Cristiano. Minutes after the tweet, the club’s official website crashed.

Ronaldo, 36, joined Manchester United in 2003 at the age of 17 but is now totally different from the winger of the era.

In the six years since joining United in 2003, Ronaldo has scored 118 goals in 292 appearances and quickly became one of the most dangerous strikers in the world. He also won the FIFA World Player of the Year award five times.

How many million dollars did the deal cost?

Ronaldo has signed a 15 million Euro ($17.7)  fee deal with United, with an additional 8 million Euro  ($9.4m), but the transfer from Juventus is subject to personal conditions, a visa and a medical examination. ۔

This is the second big and surprising news in the transfer window for the players as Ronaldo’s long time rival Lionel Messi has recently joined the French club by saying goodbye to his club Barcelona.

There are reports that United did not expect Ronaldo to leave Juventus in the transfer window, so they tried when it became clear that they were available.

On Thursday, Ronaldo met with Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri and told him he wanted to leave the club where he had spent the last three years after splitting from Real Madrid.

It should be noted that Ronaldo had one year left in his contract with Juventus.

Manchester United said in an official statement, “Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical.

“Cristiano, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has so far won over 30 major trophies during his career, including five UEFA Champions League titles, four FIFA Club World Cups, seven league titles in England, Spain and Italy, and the European Championship for his native Portugal.

“In his first spell for Manchester United, he scored 118 goals in 292 games.

“Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Cristiano back to Manchester.”
