Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has denied rumors that he will leave the club this summer, citing uncertainty about his future.

The German’s long-term commitment to the Blues has been called into doubt in recent months, with some speculating that he could be on his way out due to the ongoing takeover process at Stamford Bridge.

With his contract expiring this summer, defender Antonio Rudiger has already decided to leave, and he could be followed by fellow center-back Andreas Christensen.

Meanwhile, Cesar Azpilicueta, Jorginho, and Timo Werner have all been linked with departures in recent months.

Despite this, Tuchel has stated that he has begun preparation for next season and has confirmed his commitment to Chelsea.

“From pre-season next season, we will do our absolute best, and I will be completely involved with all my heart and all my knowledge,” the German declared in his pre-match press conference before the midweek clash with Manchester United.

Tuchel has been in charge for over a year, having taken over from club legend Frank Lampard in January.

The former PSG and Borussia Dortmund coach made an almost immediate impression in west London.

He guided the Blues to their second Champions League victory, as well as the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

Tuchel has also taken Chelsea to two consecutive FA Cup finals, and the club will be hoping to lift the trophy at Wembley Stadium next month after losing to Leicester City the previous season.

But first, the Blues must overcome Manchester United’s challenge.

Chelsea could all but guarantee their spot in the Champions League next season with a win at Old Trafford, thereby ruining the Red Devils’ chances of finishing in the top four.

Tuchel has stressed that his team’s emphasis is solely on victory.

“There’s always a good time for a triumph,” he remarked. “It makes no difference if you won the last match or the last two against the same opponent.”

“The following match is always the next match after a win. It simply goes to demonstrate how difficult it is. There are streaks like this in football.”

“It is more difficult to win against some opponents. Manchester United is obviously this type of opponent for us”, he added.

“With all due respect for Man U’s history, occasion, and quality, we try to win, and we will arrive to win.”

“We’re preparing to win this match and see what questions are raised, what the game demands, and whether or not the momentum shifts”, he remarked.
