Liam Livingstone of the Punjab Kings (PBKS) batsman said he prefers his game to do all the talking and responding his critics. With the help of two fours and as many as five sixes, the right-hander crashed his way to an undefeated 22-ball knock of 49 on Sunday, May 22. PBKS defeated the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by five wickets in the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, thanks to his innings.

Livingstone was equally impressive with the bat, conceding only 25 runs in his four-over quota despite failing to take a wicket. The Englishman revealed that he gives his bowlers a lot of consideration and also revealed some of his flaws.

“It was enjoyable. Throughout the competition, I felt like I was striking the ball well. The way we played today was ideal – aggressive while yet being tactically sound. It’s been a long two and a half months, and a break would be nice. I’m a strong believer in matches, and I thought Umran and Washy were perfect for one other. I attempted to play left-handed pitchers well. Livingstone stated, “I don’t think I’ve ever smashed a left-arm spinner over extra covers.”

PBKS finished sixth in the points standings with 14 points and a net run rate of +0.126 after the victory. He also discussed how to improve over time and face obstacles head on. With an economy rate of 8.78, Livingstone took six wickets in 12 innings.
