Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has said that the national women’s team will tour Australia next year.

Pakistan will play three T20Is and three ODIs in Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra from 16-29 January 2023, the board added.

The ODIs will be a part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-2025.

The first two ODIs will be played in Brisbane on 46 and 18 January 2023 while the last one will be played in Sydney on 21 January 2023.

The first T20I is staged in Sydney on Jan 24, while the remaining two will be played in Canberra on Jan 27 and 29.

Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies are among the ten teams competing in the ICC Women’s Championship.

The top five countries and the hosts will be guaranteed a spot in the World Cup in 2025 at the end of the three-year cycle, while the rest of the teams will have to compete in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

In addition to the ICC Women’s Championship, Pakistani women will also compete in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games (25 July-8 August), the ACC Women’s T20 Asia Cup in December, and the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in March (2-26 February).
