Chamari Athapaththu, the talismanic skipper, will lead the team to Pakistan on May 19th.

The Sri Lanka Cricket selection committee has picked a 15-man squad for the tour, with a further five players on standby.

Between May 24 and 5, the two teams will play three T20Is in Karachi, followed by as many ODIs.

The three One-Day Internationals will be part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25, in which Pakistan finished fifth last time around, ahead of New Zealand, the West Indies, and Sri Lanka.

The visitors ended last in the standings and will be trying to improve their results in the next cycle.
