Pakistan women’s team captain Bismah Maroof and her daughter Fatima departed for Ireland.

Fatima, who was introduced to the world at this year’s ICC Women’s World Cup, was granted special permission to accompany her mother on two key international assignments alongside an attendant.

Beginning on July 16, the Pakistan women’s team will first play in a T20 tri-nation series with Australia and Ireland.

The Green Shirts will later compete in the Commonwealth Games, which are scheduled to begin on July 29 in Birmingham.

First time in the history of the Commonwealth Games, cricket has been included alongside other events.
