Pakistan upsets England with a 10 wicket win by chasing a massive target of 200 runs with 2 balls to spare in the 2nd T20 internationals.

England after winning the toss decided to bat first, the start was good by the England openers as they were hitting boundaries all around the stadium.

At the end of the powerplay England scored 48 for the loss of 2 wickets. Both the 2 wickets were taken by Shahnawaz Dahani in 2 consecutive balls making England’s score to rise a little slow.

Phil Salt scored 30 crucial runs for England but it was not enough as Haris Rauf bowled him making 95 for 3 in 11.3 overs.

By the end of 1st innings England captain Moeen Ali and Ben Dunkett scored after hitting fours and gigantic sixes, setting the target for Pakistan 200 runs in 20 overs.

Mohammad Hasnain was expensive in his spell as he conceded 51 runs without taking a wicket in his 4 over spell.

Pakistan won this match easily without losing a wicket after Babar Azam scored his 2nd T20 International century. Babar Azam scored 110 from 66 deliveries with 11 fours and 5 massive sixes.

On the other hand, Mohammad Rizwan scored 88 from 51 balls with 5 fours and 4 sixes.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan now holds the record for the highest T20 opening Partnership in T20 history. Previous record of highest opening partnership was also held these two against South Africa.

 

Moeen Ali just bowled 1 over and was smashed by Mohammad Rizwan giving away 21 runs in 6 deliveries.

For his amazing captain’s knock of 110 from 66 deliveries Babar Azam won the Man of the Match award.

The seven match series is now tied with 1-1 victory of each sides. Pakistan and England will play their 3rd T20 match on Friday at 7:30 pm.
