Argentina are the World Champions beat France in FIFA 2022 Final

Argentina was crowned world champions of football after claiming victory in the tense final game of the FIFA World Cup 2022, which it did by defeating France, a team that had previously won the title twice.

The game that had everyone on the edge of their seats was settled by penalties.

Mbappe of France scored the third goal for his team with all of them credited to him after the game went into an extra 15 minutes of overtime, while Messi of Argentina scored his second goal adding the third to his side’s kitty after the game went into overtime.

After a tense last twenty minutes, the game that would ultimately decide who would win went into overtime. Earlier in the match, France’s Kylian Mbappe scored twice in the span of two minutes late in the game, including a penalty kick in the 80th minute, to rescue a 2-2 draw with Argentina after 90 minutes and force the World Cup final Sunday to go into extra time.

Mbappe prompted a remarkable recovery for France, who had appeared toothless for much of the game. The Argentinians had struck through captain Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria in the first half and were in perfect control until Mbappe spurred France’s dramatic comeback.

Messi scored his sixth goal of the competition before halftime, and Angel Di Maria increased Argentina’s advantage with a goal off a sensational counterattack to give Argentina a 2-0 lead over France. Before the break, Argentina led France.

A penalty kick was awarded to Argentina after Ousmane Dembele fouled Angel Di Maria. Lionel Messi converted the penalty to climb to the top of the goalscoring rankings in Qatar. Argentina dominated the first few minutes of the game and won the penalty kick when Dembele fouled Di Maria.

The Lusail Stadium was practically transformed into the equivalent of a home venue for Lionel Scaloni’s team thanks to the thousands of Argentine fans in blue and white who outnumbered the few French fans there. This resulted in an exciting atmosphere.

The second goal was scored by Angel Di Maria when Argentina countered down the right flank with the help of Alexis Mac Allister. Mac Allister crossed the ball to the far post, and Di Maria fired a shot past the advancing Hugo Lloris, much to the pleasure of the crowd.
