Following a significant altercation during the Detroit Pistons’ 121-101 victory over the Orlando Magic, the NBA fined eleven players.

The Magic’s Moritz Wagner, a centre, was given a two-game suspension on Thursday for pushing Pistons player Killian Hayes off the court.

Hayes was also given a three-match punishment for retaliating by hitting Wagner in the back of the head.

The Pistons guard Hamidou Diallo received a one-game suspension, along with eight Magic players.

Mo Bamba, Wendell Carter Jr., Admiral Schofield, Franz Wagner, and guards Cole Anthony, RJ Hampton, Gary Harris, and Kevon Harris are the players that have been suspended for one game each.

Wagner shoved Hayes inside the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit with the Pistons leading by nine points at the time.

Diallo rushed in and threw Wagner into the Pistons bench, sending him flying into Hayes, who then pushed him to the ground.

The eight Magic players who were given one-game suspensions for leaving the bench area will be spread out in order to ensure that eight players are available for the team’s upcoming two games.

While everything was going on, Luka Doncic recorded his eighth triple-double of the season with 35 points, 12 rebounds, and 13 assists to help the Dallas Mavericks defeat the Houston Rockets for the fifth time in a row, 129-114.
