The National Bank Cricket Arena will have its gates open for free for Pakistan’s second Test match against New Zealand, per a decision by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Karachi residents will receive free admission to the second Pakistan vs. New Zealand Test, which begins on January 2, according to a PCB official who spoke to Geo News on the condition of anonymity.

Except for two VIP paid stands, all seats during the second Test are free for Karachi residents. The official stated that entry will be on a first come, first served basis.

Javed Miandad and Hanif Mohammad enclosure hold the rank of VIP enclosure at National Stadium Cricket Arena in Karachi, with tickets costing Rs500 per day.

In order to fill the stadium for Test cricket, the PCB has challenges. Only a small number of spectators have entered the stadium for the current Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand.

One reason for this is that all of the game days for both Tests are working days due to the timing of the games. Another factor in the low level of interest among fans is the performance of the Pakistani team.
