Fatima Sana finally gotten her wish

Fatima Sana, a young female pacer for Pakistan, has finally gotten her wish.

On Sunday, Fatima got to meet Ellyse Perry, an ageing cricketer from Australia who was a childhood hero.

Prior to their third T20I match against Australia in Canberra, which was postponed, Sana and Perry met on the sidelines. Sana had received the young women’s cricketer award the previous year.

Sana and Perry may be seen interacting in a video posted by the Australia Women’s Cricket Team on their official Twitter account.

Sana questioned the 32-year-old about picking up the tempo.

Sana received praise from Perry for his bowling and received some advice on bowing.

Sana was seen requesting Jessica Jonassen to introduce her to Perry in a video that Cricket Australia broadcast earlier during the final one-day international of the series between the two teams.

“May I speak with Perry?” Sana inquired of Jonassen.

In response, Jonassen recommended Sana to communicate directly with Perry while recognising her hesitancy.

“Do you admire Ellyse? She then inquired of Sana. “Yes, I was 11 years old when she won the World Cup,” she replied.

It should be mentioned that Australia defeated Pakistan in all three of the one-day international matches and won the three T20 international series 2-0 despite one game being rained out.
