Jon Rahm impressed by Gareth Bale golfing abilities
Jon Rahm is astounded by Gareth Bale’s golf ability. The 2021 US Open champion remarked that Bale’s golf ability is “not honest,” and that he has no business being so talented in both soccer and golf.
The 2021 US Open winner and former Wales and Real Madrid forward played in a Pro-Am prior to this week’s Farmers Insurance Open on the PGA Tour.
The Ryder Cup player from Europe was impressed by what he seen at Torrey Pines.
“I told Gareth that you can’t be that good at professional football and golf at the same time, it just doesn’t seem fair,” the Spaniard explained.
“You can’t be dedicated to one thing and have this much talent at golf; it’s not fair.”

Bale previously stated that he will participate in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in California the following month, just weeks after announcing his retirement from professional football at the age of 33.
Bale played nine holes at Torrey Pines as a warm-up for his week with the pros, and Rahm stated that Bale didn’t seek for any advise from him.
“He didn’t ask for anything, and he shouldn’t; he’s already good enough. He has no right to be that talented as a professional football player “The 28-year-old explained.
“He’ll get a lot better if he can actually practise more. He only got two strokes in the Pro-Am, which I believe is incorrect. He should be returning strokes to the rest of the amateurs because he is a fantastic player.”
