PAK vs NZ: Shadab Khan, the vice-captain of Pakistan’s white-ball format side, has left Australia to join the rest of the national team in Karachi for the upcoming one-day international series against New Zealand.
On Tuesday, Shadab was seen boarding a plane in order to depart Australia. He was a member of the Hobart Hurricanes team that competed in the Big Bash League (BBL).
He ended up playing five matches for Hurricanes and collecting seven wickets while scoring 58 runs. Overall, he had a positive impact. Because of an injury to his finger, he was unable to participate in the sixth match.
The all-rounder will join the national team in Karachi, which is where the first, second, and third one-day international matches between Pakistan and New Zealand are slated to take place.
On January 4, National Interim Chief Selector Shahid Khan Afridi and his staff will make the announcement on the 16-member One-Day International squad. Earlier, 24 probables for the series were disclosed to the public.
