Shaikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa was elected president of the AFC for a third time in a row, serving a four-year term through 2027. Gianni Infantino, the head of FIFA, also attended the conference.

Al Khalifa was congratulated by PFF NC for being chosen to lead the AFC. The Pakistani football regulatory body is eager to collaborate closely with the AFC to advance the game there.

Adeel Rizki, the head coach of the Pakistan women’s soccer team, has revealed that the PFF is working with FIFA to establish a women’s league.

Rizki feels that the league will help Pakistani women’s football advance.
