The senior and junior selection committees were revealed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday.
The five-person junior selection committee has been given to Kamran Akmal, while the senior selection committee, led by Haroon Rashid, has gained three more members.
The national senior selection committee now includes Yasir Hameed, Muhammad Sami, and Kamran Akmal thanks to the PCB.

Between 2002 and 2017, Akmal participated in 58 T20 games, 53 ODIs, and 53 Tests for Pakistan.
Yasir Hameed played 25 Tests and 56 ODIs, while fast bowler Mohammad Sami played 36 Tests, 87 ODIs, and 13 T20 internationals.
Akmal, 41, will also serve as the chairman of the committee responsible for choosing the juniors.
Former national selectors Tauseef Ahmed, Arshad Khan, Shahid Nazir, and Shoaib Khan are also a part of the junior selection committee, which is headed by the wicket-keeper batter.
