Usman Khawaja wins inaugural Shane Warne Men's Test Player of the Year...
Usman Khawaja, an Australian batsman of Pakistani descent, was supposed to leave for India on February 9, but his trip has been postponed because he had trouble getting a visa.
Khawaja, however, poked fun at the circumstance on Wednesday when he shared an image from the well-known Netflix series “Narcos” on his Instagram.
“Me waiting for my Indian Visa like…” he wrote atop an image of Pablo Escobar, played by Wagner Moura, sitting alone on a swinging armchair.
The second wave of Australian players and support staff had gone from Sydney in the afternoon, so he also used the hashtags “stranded” and “dontleaveme” (don’t leave me) in his post.

The rumours state that the left-handed starter will now leave on Thursday.
Khawaja, who immigrated to Australia from Pakistan when he was 4 years old, has already visited India on several occasions and experienced a visa refusal incident there.
He was initially denied a visa in 2011 to represent New South Wales in the T20 Champions League, but after protests to the Indian high commission, the issue was addressed.
Australia will prepare for their trip to India for four days in Bengaluru before heading to Nagpur for the first Test.
